What is Café Touba?
Café Touba is a Senegalese coffee flavored with jar, Guinea pepper (Xylopia aethiopica). It takes its name from Touba, the holy city in central Senegal. The marriage of coffee and this spice gives it its signature warmth, very different from a regular coffee.
What is the difference between Regular, More Clove and Nouroul Jamal?
All three share the same Robusta and jar base. Regular is the traditional, balanced version. More Clove adds clove, for a rounder, spicier cup. Nouroul Jamal is our ceremonial recipe, with a stronger jar dose.
What sizes and grinds do you offer?
Each recipe comes in 250 g and 1 kg, either ground or whole bean. Every bag is resealable and recyclable.
How do I brew Café Touba?
Like a filter coffee. Use one tablespoon per 16 oz of water, or one per 7 oz if you like it strong. Use water just off the boil rather than boiling, steep for four minutes, and enjoy it black or lightly sweetened.
How should I store my coffee?
Reseal the zip bag after each use and keep it away from air, light and moisture. Avoid the fridge: moisture and odors will spoil the grind.
Are your coffees halal?
Our coffees are 100% natural, with no additives or artificial flavoring: only coffee and spices. They are halal friendly by composition.

Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. Rates vary by zone: Senegal, West Africa, European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland, North America, and the rest of the world. The exact amount appears at the cart once you select your country.
How is shipping calculated?
It depends on your destination and the weight of your order. Each 250 g and 1 kg bag has its own rate, added to a zone base fee. The total is calculated automatically at the cart, before any payment.
What payment methods do you accept?
The available payment methods appear at checkout. All transactions are encrypted and no card data is stored on our side.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A confirmation email is sent as soon as the order is placed, and parcel tracking is available from your account, under Orders.

Can I order without creating an account?
Yes, guest checkout is available. Creating an account lets you track orders, find your invoices and check out faster next time.
How does the subscription work?
The subscription sends your coffee every month, freshly roasted, with 15% off each delivery. It has no minimum term: pause, change or cancel anytime from your account before the renewal date.
