Description
The Touba experience at its richest
Nouroul Jamal combines roasted coffee beans with jar (Xylopia aethiopica, called jar in Wolof) in a deliberately stronger dose. It’s the recipe for special occasions.
A ceremonial coffee
Designed as a ritual: the aroma first, then the color, then a long, stimulating cup. It’s the coffee you serve to guests.
What sets it apart
- Stronger jar dose
- 100% natural, no additives
- Halal friendly
- Resealable, recyclable zip bag
How to brew your Café Touba
Café Touba brews like a regular filter coffee. The dose sets the strength:
- Regular: 1 tablespoon per 16 oz (470 ml) of water.
- Strong: 1 tablespoon per 7 oz (200 ml) of water.
The three rules to follow
- Use water just off the boil, never boiling: it would scorch the jar's aromas.
- Let it steep for four minutes.
- Enjoy it black or lightly sweetened, the Senegalese way.
Storage
Reseal the zip bag after each use and keep it away from air, light and moisture. Avoid the fridge, which spoils the aromas.
